Challenges

Interview Horizon Technologies platform requires a comprehensive redesign to elevate its visual appeal, enhance user experience, and effectively communicate its core features and functionalities. The existing design lacks an intuitive user interface and user-friendly flow, potentially hindering its ability to attract and engage users optimally. Our UX design team is tasked with redesigning InterviewAI to improve its visual aesthetics, layout, and overall usability, ensuring it serves as a compelling and approachable entry point for users. The primary goal is to encourage recruiters to get to the site and request a demo, allowing our specialists to seamlessly connect with them.

Solutions

1. Prominence of "Request Demo" CTA: Maintain the clear and prominent "Request Demo" call-to-action (CTA) across all website pages. Since the form is designed for simplicity and quick specialist-recruiter contact, ensure it remains easily accessible and visible.

2. Leverage Help Center: Utilize the existing help center page to provide comprehensive information and answers to common questions. Ensure it's easily accessible and well-organized to assist users in finding solutions to their queries independently.

3. Highlight Testimonials: Showcase customer testimonials prominently on the website, especially on the demo request page. Positive feedback from satisfied customers can instill trust and encourage users to take the next step.

Secondary Research

We conducted secondary research to gather additional information about AI products, with a specific focus on identifying the demographic of recruiters. Our research revealed that the majority of recruiters in the United States are females, particularly 41-year-old women.

Approach

We've completed the project, including research and moodboards to enhance the design. Our primary focus was on recruiters, and we emphasized secondary research to better understand their preferences.

During the design phase, we experimented with different modal designs. These designs will now be aligned with the client's brand colors and fonts for a consistent user experience.

Recruiter Demographics

in the US.

The average recruiter age is 41 years old.

Competitive Research

To gain insight of the latest trends in AI interview tools, we conducted a thorough analysis of competitors. The objective was to gain insights into current trends, product offerings, and online features provided by direct competitors. We looked at 3 of the top websites in this space, Interviewer.ai, Entelo.com, Ideal.com.

Examining their strengths and presentation styles, we aimed to identify trends and potential improvements. Notably, all platforms have a clear call to action, but differ in the level of detail in presenting AI features.

Some extend beyond generic features, addressing specific recruiting needs. Secondary research indicates high user expectations for UX/UI, emphasizing the opportunity to stand out with transparency and a targeted approach for recruiters.

Survey

We conducted a survey involving five participants engaged in the recruitment process. Among the questions asked was one regarding their current challenges.

Specifically, we asked, "What challenges do you face when finding quality candidates?"

The survey results were illuminating. A significant 60% identified the difficulty in finding quality candidates as a major hurdle in recruitment. Additionally, 33% expressed concerns about candidate engagement and retention.

Problem Statement

Recruiters face the ongoing challenge of consistently finding it difficult to discover quality candidates who align with their company's needs. Administrative tasks consume valuable time, hindering efficiency. Transparency in decision-making processes is often lacking, creating uncertainty in candidate selection. The overarching aim is to identify candidates not only matching initial criteria but also exhibiting long-term potential for retention.

Collaborative Sketching

In our sketching phase, our team of three designers divided the project into specific pages. Each team member focused on one page, allowing for in-depth exploration and ideation. This approach maximized creativity and generated a range of ideas, which we later consolidated into a cohesive website design for InterviewHQ.

Design Process

Our design journey for Interview Horizon Technologies encompassed the creation of essential design assets that laid the foundation for a seamless and visually engaging user experience.

SITE MAP

We strategically crafted a sitemap to structure the website's content, ensuring organized and user-friendly navigation.

MOODBOARD

During the design process for InterviewHQ's website, we initially explored various design styles through moodboards. However, the decision was made to prioritize the company's brand identity. We seamlessly integrated their brand colors into the website's design, ensuring a cohesive and visually appealing user experience. This approach reflects our commitment to aligning design with the client's established brand.
